⁴² Furthermore, the five thousand silver shekels that used to be taken annually from the income of the temple will no longer be collected, since these funds belong to the priests who minister there.

⁴³ “All who take refuge in the temple in Jerusalem or in any of its precincts because of money owed to the king or any other debt will be released without any forfeiture of property they possess in my kingdom. ⁴⁴ The cost of the rebuilding and restoration of the structures of the sanctuary are to be taken from the revenues of the king.
